Held on Friday and Saturday, Mekeeva and Rav’s wedding meshed to beautiful customs and traditions together. How splendid is it to have your groom ride up on a horse? Makeeva got to find out; Rav was in full regalia, including a lavish turban, as he rode in on a finely decorated horse. Making his way to the nuptials, he was welcomed by the cheering community; no one who attended will ever forget this delightful wedding ceremony.
For her part, Makeeva was stunning and elegant in each costume change she was required to make. Artistic and traditional henna on both hands and feet, each outfit represented another stage of the wedding. The ceremonies culminated on Saturday afternoon with a Christian service; the reception at Martin’s West, in Baltimore, MD, followed; happy guests celebrated the union of the wedded couple in style.
